I had to move and I was pretty anxious. July 1st, the worst day to move. The most expensive day and the one where you see all sorts of things (a friend of mine even had his mover not show up without warning). I needed a very large truck because 10 years of living as a family of five means a lot of stuff to move from one house to another. Like many, I shopped around for a moving company. I called about ten people in total, and the prices were exorbitant. When you move, you have to be honest about the number of rooms, appliances, etc.; that's what allows you to determine the correct dimensions. I was offered 3 guys/2 trucks, 4 people/2 trucks, and the prices went up accordingly. It was a competitor I had already dealt with who had honestly told me, "I don't have a suitable truck, check with the Panneton family in Montreal." On moving day, four men showed up: three young guys and one older guy. They went around, asked what was being moved and what wasn't, then they were off, a real marathon. They emptied the house room by room at an incredible speed. It was scorching hot, and they were sometimes running, moving a couple of boxes here and there. They were pleasant, funny, sharp, and hardworking. I even insisted they take a break because it was so hot and the guys weren't holding back. They did it in record time despite the conditions (heat, road, rain, and a split-level house with difficult and low access). They were all fantastic, and I ended up with a bill, including tips (don't forget, the guys deserve it!), that was $2000 less than the others. Honestly, they were honest and professional. Thank you to them for their great work, and sorry again about the cats. I recommend them 200%. You guys rock! I asked their boss, and I was surprised they didn't have air conditioning. If any team deserves it, it's them! With the temperature inside the car and the road, it must have been between 50 and 70 degrees Celsius, according to estimates. WO22868 - Thank you to Clan Panneton and their extraordinary team of three meticulous and attentive professionals from Ukraine who made the experience pleasant and efficient! A local move of a 5 1/2 apartment, with lots of furniture, heavy boxes (books), and fragile items, all carefully protected and transported. I definitely recommend their service!
